Dr. Huynh

Dr. Hai Huynh, D.D.S.

Dr. Hai Huynh was born in Vietnam and came to the US when she was around 6 years old. She grew up in Cupertino, CA and dreamt of being a “kid’s doctor” since she was a child while helping her parents take care of her younger sisters as they worked hard for their children’s future. Being the first in her family to graduate from college, she received her degree in Biology and Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis. Dr. Huynh moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico after college and worked as a certified pediatric dental assistant while she continued to pursue her dreams. After nearly three years, she went on to Cleveland, Ohio to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with Honors, from Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Huynh knew she enjoyed working with children the most while she was in dental school and continued her training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University at Buffalo and Oishei Children’s Hospital.

Having a personal experience with dental trauma and childhood caries, Dr. Huynh knows and understands dental anxiety and pain. She is passionate about helping children have positive dental experiences and healthy smiles while forming lifelong relationships with her patients based on trust, kindness, and compassion. Dr. Huynh is a proponent of preventive dental care and enjoys providing dental services to children locally as well as abroad. She has traveled to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Jamaica to provide dental services to underserved populations.

Dr. Huynh loves spending time with her husband, newborn son, family, friends, and enjoys spoiling her two adopted bunnies. In her spare time, she loves to garden, cook, bake, paint, hike, travel and provide dental services abroad. She’s a major foodie and will try all kinds of foods unless it is too spicy. Collecting cute and silly socks is one of her hobbies, so if you see her wearing them, ask her about them. Dr. Huynh enjoys tending to her roses, lavender, peonies, and some indoor plants with her husband, and she is so happy to see them thrive. Her goal is to provide a nurturing and loving environment for her patients and their families to not only grow but to blossom as well.
